About Classical Pilates

Classical Pilates is a powerful workout that engages the whole body. Building strength, core stability, endurance, flexibility, co-ordination and more.

After a session you will feel like you have had a WORKOUT— energized, invigorated and rejuvenated.

Joseph Pilates

As a child during the early 1900s in Germany, Joseph Pilates suffered from asthma, rickets and rheumatic fever. His developing passion and determination to build a strong healthy body, evolved into a powerful movement system which is now known as Classical Pilates.

Joseph began to teach others during WWI and later founded a studio in New York during the 1920s. His clientelle broadly ranged between hospitalized, bed ridden patients to professional athletes.

The results speak for themselves in his students that today continue his legacy.
